I am officially obsessed with her case, it's going out of control, I might need to go to rehab.
I spend my entire day on twitter and facebook waiting for updates, last night I saw the twitter notification bar in a dream, and I am using 2 laptops to keep up with the case.

If you couldn't already tell, yes I am with women driving, and I have been always a big supporter of the idea, but now I believe in it ever more firmly.

I am not a legal expert by any mean but from what I read on different publications, her arrest doesn't hold any legal grounds, and you can make you're own researches and I am sure you'll get to the same conclusion I have.

Initiating women to drive is not Manal only accomplishment, She graduated high school 3rd in Mecca, graduated college with honor, was part of a basketball championship team, and the only woman in the world to earn an ISO certificate in information security .

Manal has been sentenced for 5 days in jail, and tomorrow will be her last day, but no one knows if you'll be released but I hope so.

The case is more complicated to be summarized in one post, and I'll try to post more details about the case, and how people are reacting to it.
Keep praying for her to return back to her home and her 5 years old sick boy, and beside her successful career she's a single mom.
What an amazing lady she is, people like her make me feel kind of ashamed to be a Saudi Male, a gender that have been oppressing women for so long, to the point that Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that bans women from driving.

this is just an introductory post for hopefully more post expressing my own views regarding the matter and my arguments to people who oppose women driving.

my life is so boring

I has been a while since I posted in here, it looks like I was bloged out after posing for almost every day in April.

As the title of this post might implied, nothing much going on in my life, same old crap everyday, the only new thing is I am so sick it sucks, taking a cold shower before going to bed was not a good idea at all.

my younger brother left to the States yesterday for his summer vacation, I wish if that was me :( I hope you'll love it there.

I noticed something very strange yet very interesting, if you're get anything done fast by the phone pretend you're a foreigner with English as a first language.
for example, I was trying to get a reservation at trendy restaurant that just opened for my family, so I called and I was told that they are fully booked for the night, I called later in the same day and I spoke in English and pretended that I am American, and strangely I was able to get a table for seven that night.
anther example, if you want to book a flight by the phone, you'll be waiting less time for assistance if you made it in English.

Maybe those are just isolated incidents, it looks like I have so much free time to make such weird observations.

I just finished reading Room by Emma Donoghue, and what a great book this is, I love it, and I wont be surprised if it became a movie.

day 27, so tired

I am so tired of doing this BEDA thing, it's exhausting, I don't think that I'll do it ever again.

I need to start working out again, I used to work out almost everyday, but for no reason other being a lazy bum, and having the most missed up sleep schedule doesn't help either.

I was so happy when I heard that Kendra is going off air, I hate her so much, but then I found out that her Play Boy fellow Holly is taking her spot with her new show, and I was like are you fuckin kidding me.

I ran into this video on youtube and I loved it so much. chick it out.

day 26, hair cut

I need to get my ass to the barber shop and get a hair cut, it's wildly long, I like it but it requires too much attention, and I am not in the mood to spend more than 2 minutes on my hair.

Yesterday my aunt flew back to Jeddah after spending a couple of days in Riyadh on a business trip, it was such a lovely couple of days.
I love my aunt, she's like a mother figure to me, I love how independent, successful, ans strong she is.
On the first day I was trying to avid being alone with her, because I was sure she will ask about my school situation, and that is the last thing I want to talk about especially to her.

The next day on the to the airport, politely she asked me about it, and after telling her all about it, I was glad she asked, I felt kind of relieved, she took a heavy load off my chest.

day 25, street fashion

I believe that money doesn't buy style, you don't need to buy a Louis Vuitton shoes or purse to look good and stylish, not that I have any problems with LV.
That's why I love street fashion sites, it proves that you don't need to spend a fortune to look stylish

holly crap I just realized I have 3 minutes to write today's post, I just woke up so I am kind of disoriented.

day 23, Confession

As long I have nothing to talk, rant, about, I'll make a serious confession.

Yes I love a good chick flick, here's a list of some of my favorite:
1- He's just not that into you: The only bad thing about this movie is the person I watched with, what a bitch!!
2- Twilight: this is one of those things that I know it's so bad but for some unknown reason I can't hate it, I love this movie, and I think Kristen Stewart has alot to do with it, I love her, I think she's one of the most beautiful girls in the world, and she's not that bad actress, wont say she is great, but at least she's not bad.
3- Notting Hill: I love me some Julia Roberts, and I think by now it's clear that I have something for the Brits, I like Hugh Grant, but I think he made the stupidest mistake in his life by cheating on Elizabeth Hurley with a prostitute!!
4- Mean Girls: I talked about my Lindsay Lohan obsession, and the movie is a good one.
5- The devil wears Prada.
6- The Proposal, Just like He's not that into you, the only bad thing about this movie is I watched with the same bitch.
I love how pretty is everything in that movie, from the clothes to the cast, and the scenery, it's just like looking at a pretty person.

Believe it or not I still haven't watched the king of all chick flicks, The note book.
I guess I am waiting for the right moment, maybe a slumber party :p
